Greentube has expanded its Piggy Prizes slot series with Piggy Prizes: Ghost of Gambini, a Halloween-themed release featuring a second Gambini character and a new Super Lock & Spin bonus in which every Gold frame awards a jackpot.
Released on 20 October 2026, the 15-reel slot features 40 win lines and is now available to B2B partners. The launch adds a seasonal title to Greentube’s portfolio ahead of the busy fourth-quarter gaming period.
Ghost of Gambini Adds New Mechanics to the Base Game
The game retains the series’ signature locked-prize system, with coin and pot symbols chained and padlocked on the reels. These symbols unlock when they land alongside a Gambini or Ghost symbol on the centre reel, with both characters acting as Wilds.
The Ghost of Gambini brings additional activity to the base game by adding coins and jackpots to the reels on each spin. It can also increase the value of existing coins it lands on.
Two modifiers help players bring a Gambini symbol into view. Magic Spin randomly stops the centre reel first, while Magic Rewind moves the centre reel back to place a Gambini symbol and can rewind non-winning reels onto locked jackpot symbols.
Piggy Pots Trigger Lock & Spin Bonuses
Whenever a Gambini symbol lands on the centre reel, it throws a coin into one or both piggy pots positioned above the reels. Once a pot reaches capacity and pops, the Lock & Spin feature begins, awarding three spins or four if both pots pop simultaneously.
During the feature, White Ghosts place Bronze frames and can upgrade them to Silver or Gold, while Gold Ghosts place Gold frames directly. When the bonus ends, the frames convert into cash prizes or jackpots.
A more valuable version, Super Lock & Spin, is triggered when the Ghost of Gambini causes a pot to pop. In this mode, only Gold Ghosts can land, and every Gold frame awards a jackpot, making the feature the game’s main jackpot-focused bonus.
A Buy Bonus option is also available in certain licensed markets.
Halloween Release Targets the Q4 Gaming Calendar
Greentube had already showcased Ghost of Gambini at SBC Summit Lisbon and G2E Las Vegas ahead of its release, giving operator partners an early look at the title before the Halloween period.
The game joins several recent additions to the Piggy Prizes family, including Railroad Rumble, Coins O’ Plenty, Wand of Riches 2 and Jingle Jackpots.
Richard Ganster, Director of Games Strategy and Games Portfolio Management at Greentube, said the new title builds on the series’ established audience by adding another Gambini character and connecting the base-game mechanics more directly to the bonus round. He also highlighted Super Lock & Spin as a feature that makes every Gold frame a jackpot opportunity.
Greentube, the digital gaming and entertainment division of NOVOMATIC, supplies slots, table games, video bingo and other gaming content to operators across international markets. With Ghost of Gambini, the company adds another seasonal release to its portfolio for the final quarter of 2026.
