Evoplay is bringing Frankenstein-inspired chaos to its slot portfolio with The Castle of Slotenstein, a new Halloween release built around three pumpkin-powered boosters, a Hold & Win bonus and a progressive-style Grand Reel of Fortune finale.
Released on 15 October, the game takes players into a mad scientist’s castle, where different boosters can change the bonus setup and help unlock the title’s final prize feature.
Three Pumpkin Boosters Shape the Bonus Game
The Castle of Slotenstein introduces three coloured Pumpkin Bonus symbols, each with a different effect on the Hold & Win feature.
- Green Shock increases the starting number of bonus spins from three to four.
- Purple Trick can add more Bonus symbols to its reel or increase the values of existing Bonus symbols by up to 5x.
- Blue Treat adds its value to every Orange Bonus symbol already on the grid.
The bonus begins with three or four spins, depending on the active boosters. During the feature, only Bonus symbols appear on the reels, and each new Bonus symbol resets the spin counter, creating more opportunities to build the grid.
Fill Reels to Unlock Grand Reel of Fortune
Landing three Bonus symbols on a reel completes it and collects their values into the win meter. The cleared reel also unlocks one of five sections of the Grand Reel of Fortune the first time it is completed.
Once all five sections have been unlocked, players trigger a final spin on the Grand Reel of Fortune. The outcome can be one of four multipliers — 2x, 3x, 5x or 8x — or one of four fixed prize tiers: Mini, Mega, Super and Grand.
The game also includes a Bonus Buy option, allowing players to enter the feature directly with one, two or all three boosters activated.
Evoplay Continues Its Seasonal Slot Series
The Castle of Slotenstein follows a series of 2026 releases built around layered booster mechanics, including Piggyfest Bonanza, 3 Super Volcanoes and Tiger of Fortune.
Evoplay CEO Ivan Kravchuk said the game combines a Halloween setting with features designed to make the bonus develop in different ways, while the Grand Reel of Fortune gives players a final target to unlock.
With its mix of spooky visuals, stackable feature effects and a reel-based prize finale, The Castle of Slotenstein adds another seasonal title to Evoplay’s expanding slot catalogue.
