Fish & Chips Games Launches Wolf of London With Persistent Crystal Feature

Fish & Chips Games is taking players into the foggy streets of Victorian London with Wolf of London, its second slot release and a darker follow-up to the studio’s debut title, Bus Stop Bonanza.

The Victorian Gothic-themed game combines expanding reels, collectible crystals and a persistent progression system, with a maximum win of 3,095x the bet.

The Reels Expand Before the Feature Begins

Wolf of London starts with a 5×4 reel grid and 1,024 paylines, but the full feature potential is hidden beyond the initial layout.

Each Rising Moon that lands expands the grid by another row, with up to three expansions available. This can eventually take the game to a 5×7 layout.

The Collectible Crystals used for the game’s main feature only appear on the additional rows, making the reel expansion an important part of the collection process.

Landing all three Rising Moons triggers 10 Free Spins, played on the expanded 5×7 grid.

Crystal Progress Carries Between Sessions

The main collection mechanic is built around four different Crystal colours.

Collecting five Crystals of the same colour completes a collection and awards five Free Spins. Each collection also adds a Super High Paying Werewolf in the corresponding colour to every reel set.

However, the progress does not disappear when the session ends.

Players can return at a later time and continue building their existing Crystal collections instead of starting over. New players also receive a head start, with three Red Crystals already banked when they begin, leaving only two more needed to complete the first collection.

A Darker Take on the Fish & Chips Portfolio

Wolf of London follows Bus Stop Bonanza as the second release from Fish & Chips Games, but the studio has taken its British theme in a very different direction.

The bright comedy of the debut has been replaced by gaslit streets, fog and a werewolf-inspired Victorian setting, giving the new slot a darker identity ahead of the autumn and Halloween season.

Phill Taylor, Head of Region – Europe at Yggdrasil, highlighted the persistent Crystal mechanic as a feature designed to support player retention while the expanding reels build towards the larger Free Spins round.

3,095x Maximum Win

Wolf of London comes with 94% RTP, a 20.3% hit frequency and medium-high volatility.

The game offers a maximum win of 3,095x the bet, with a default maximum win of €386,875.

The new title is available to operators through Yggdrasil Champions, adding another release to Fish & Chips Games’ growing portfolio as the studio develops its distinctly British take on casino content.
