SEON Expands in the Philippines With New Fraud Prevention Partnership

SEON is strengthening its presence in the Philippines through a new partnership with local systems integrator Exist Software Labs, bringing AI-powered fraud prevention and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) technology to businesses across the country.

The collaboration will target financial institutions, fintech companies, payment providers, e-commerce businesses and iGaming operators, combining SEON’s risk technology with Exist’s local engineering and integration capabilities.

SEON Brings AI Fraud Tools to the Philippine Market

Under the partnership, Exist Software Labs will integrate SEON’s fraud prevention and AML solutions into its technology offering for businesses in the Philippines.

The platform brings together real-time fraud detection, risk scoring, identity verification, payment screening and AML transaction monitoring. It also provides case management and reporting tools designed to give businesses a more centralized view of potential financial crime.

SEON’s technology uses more than 900 real-time data signals to assess risk, helping businesses identify suspicious activity across digital onboarding, accounts and payments.

For companies operating in rapidly expanding digital markets, the partnership aims to make the deployment of these tools easier without requiring organizations to build separate fraud and compliance systems from scratch.

Banking, Fintech and iGaming in Focus

The agreement covers several industries where fraud and regulatory requirements are becoming increasingly important.

Banks and fintech companies can use the technology for customer screening, identity checks and transaction monitoring, while e-commerce businesses can apply the tools to payment and account fraud.

The iGaming sector is also included in the partnership, giving operators access to technology designed to detect suspicious behaviour and strengthen compliance processes.

SEON said the collaboration reflects the growing demand for integrated risk management as businesses face increasingly sophisticated financial crime.

Exist Adds Local Integration Expertise

The partnership also gives SEON a stronger route into the Philippine market through Exist Software Labs, a local technology and systems integration company.

Exist specializes in software development, systems integration and digital transformation, with experience working with businesses in financial services, banking and retail.

By combining that local expertise with SEON’s fraud prevention technology, the companies aim to help businesses integrate advanced security tools into existing infrastructures rather than relying on disconnected point solutions.

SEON Pushes Further Into APAC

The Philippine agreement forms part of SEON’s wider expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.

The company has increasingly focused on combining fraud prevention and AML capabilities within a single platform, allowing businesses to manage multiple risk signals and compliance processes from one environment.

Troy Nyi Nyi, SVP and GM of APAC at SEON, said financial crime is becoming more sophisticated while many organizations continue to manage risk through disconnected systems.

The partnership with Exist is designed to address that gap by combining AI-driven risk technology with local implementation capabilities.

As digital banking, payments, e-commerce and iGaming continue to develop in the Philippines, the two companies will now target businesses looking to strengthen their defenses against fraud while meeting increasingly demanding compliance requirements.
