BETER Enters Canada With Ontario Approval for Live Betting Content

BETER has officially entered the Canadian iGaming market after securing Gaming-Related Supplier Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), opening the door for its live sports and esports content to licensed operators across the province.

The approval marks an important step in the provider’s North American expansion and allows BETER to supply Ontario sportsbooks with live streams, real-time data and odds across its portfolio of fast-paced betting events.

Ontario Opens the Door to BETER’s Canadian Push

With its new registration, BETER can provide Ontario-licensed operators with content from its exclusive ESportsBattle eLeagues, Setka Cup table tennis series and BSKT Cup basketball league.

The provider delivers live content around the clock, covering more than 740,000 events each year. Its offering can include up to 50 betting markets per event, with BETER reporting an average operator margin of more than 8%.

The company’s esports lineup spans eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey and eTennis, while its traditional sports portfolio includes table tennis and basketball competitions.

North American Expansion Gains Momentum

Ontario is the latest addition to BETER’s growing regulatory footprint in North America.

The provider already holds 10 regulatory approvals across the United States and is now pursuing authorization in Alberta. BETER expects Alberta to become the second Canadian province to approve its content.

For BETER, the Canadian market represents another opportunity to build its presence in regulated jurisdictions while offering sportsbooks exclusive content designed around frequent, fast-paced betting opportunities.

Integrity Remains Central to the Offering

BETER says its content is supported by a dedicated Integrity team operating 24/7 to monitor events and protect fair-play standards.

The team works with sports integrity organisations including the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) and Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), as well as sports federations.

The company says these partnerships form part of its wider approach to maintaining integrity across its live betting products.

BETER Targets Long-Term Canadian Growth

BETER CEO Gal Ehrlich described Ontario as a key step in the company’s wider North American strategy, pointing to the value of exclusive content in helping the provider enter regulated markets.

Chief Legal Officer Valeriia Tarchynska added that the Ontario registration demonstrates BETER’s focus on regulatory compliance as it continues its expansion across Canada.

The company will now look to build on its Ontario entry while pursuing further approvals and expanding its presence in the Canadian market.
