Euro Games Technology (EGT) has secured regulatory approval to supply its land-based gaming products in the United Arab Emirates, adding the emerging market to its growing list of regulated international jurisdictions.
The gaming supplier has been granted a Gaming Related Vendor Licence by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), allowing it to provide products and solutions to licensed operators in the UAE.
The approval gives EGT a route into a market that is still building its commercial gaming framework and is attracting increasing attention from international suppliers.
Licence opens the door to UAE operators
Under the new licence, EGT can supply its portfolio of land-based gaming solutions to operators authorised to offer commercial gaming in the UAE.
The company already has its products installed across more than 100 countries, and the UAE now becomes another regulated market in its international network.
EGT said its focus will be on bringing its gaming technology and manufacturing expertise to future licensed operator partners while maintaining the compliance standards required by the country’s regulatory framework.
EGT targets long-term UAE growth
Nadia Popova, Chief Revenue Officer and Vice President of Sales & Marketing at EGT, described the UAE as one of the world’s most closely watched emerging gaming jurisdictions.
She said obtaining the licence reflects EGT’s focus on regulatory compliance and product quality, while also giving the company an opportunity to participate in the long-term development of the UAE’s commercial gaming sector.
For EGT, the approval is therefore more than an additional licence — it provides an entry point into a market where the regulatory and operator landscape is still taking shape.
GCGRA builds the regulatory framework
EGT’s approval comes as the GCGRA continues developing the UAE’s commercial gaming system, including the licensing of operators and suppliers serving the sector.
The regulator has been establishing the requirements that companies must meet before participating in the emerging market, making vendor approvals an important part of the industry’s development.
EGT credited both the GCGRA and legal adviser WH Partners for their support throughout the licensing process.
Another regulated market added to EGT’s portfolio
The Gaming Related Vendor Licence strengthens EGT’s international regulatory footprint and gives the supplier access to licensed UAE operators as the market develops.
With a presence spanning more than 100 countries, EGT is now positioned to compete for opportunities in one of the industry’s most closely watched new jurisdictions.
As the UAE’s commercial gaming framework continues to take shape, the licence gives EGT an early position from which to build relationships with licensed operators and introduce its land-based gaming portfolio to the market.
