Pragmatic Play has expanded its slot portfolio with Eastern Fury, a new 5×5 title built around sticky expanding wilds, escalating multipliers and a respin mechanic that can progressively spread across the reels.
Launched on 27 August 2026, the medium-volatility slot features 15 paylines and puts its main feature at the centre of the gameplay: an Expanding Wild that can appear on reel five with a multiplier ranging from 2x to 100x.
If the wild does not immediately produce a winning combination, it remains locked and triggers another spin. Further Expanding Wilds can then appear on reels four and three, creating a chain in which both the number of covered positions and the potential multiplier can grow before the sequence comes to an end.
Super Free Spins raise the stakes
The game’s bonus round is activated by three to five Scatter symbols, awarding between 10 and 20 Free Spins depending on the number collected.
Expanding Wilds remain sticky throughout the feature, together with their multipliers, allowing successive wins to build around an increasingly covered grid.
Eastern Fury also introduces Super Free Spins. When the feature is triggered with a Super Scatter, Expanding Wilds receive a minimum multiplier of 10x, giving the bonus round a considerably stronger starting point.
The title has an RTP of 96.53%, medium volatility and a maximum win of 10,000x the stake, with bets ranging from €0.20 to €240 per spin.
The release comes as Pragmatic Play continues to concentrate its development strategy on slots and live casino. Eastern Fury follows recent titles such as Fury of Anubis and adds another mechanic-led game to the supplier’s expanding slot catalogue.
Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, said Eastern Fury was designed to combine its setting with mechanics that create anticipation throughout the game.
She highlighted the sticky expanding wilds and multipliers of up to 100x, alongside the Super Free Spins feature, as key elements of the new release.
