Play’n GO has taken a playful approach to one of the world’s best-known folklore mysteries with the launch of Stompin’ Gold, a new slot that sends players into a misty woodland in search of the legendary Bigfoot.
Rather than turning the creature into a horror character, the Swedish supplier has built the game around humour, exploration and a pair of mischievous forest creatures.
Meet Biggie, Boogie and Jack Tracker
The story follows explorer Jack Tracker, who heads into the forest looking for Biggie and Boogie — two elusive creatures that regularly appear and disappear during the adventure.
Biggie is presented as a friendly and slightly goofy character, while Boogie adds to the game’s hide-and-seek theme. Together, the pair give the traditional Bigfoot legend a much lighter personality.
The game’s visual design follows the same direction. Players are taken through a foggy woodland filled with tall trees and classic exploration gear, including tents, backpacks, cameras and binoculars.
The result is less about the mystery or fear traditionally associated with Bigfoot and more about creating a colourful adventure with a humorous edge.
A different take on the Bigfoot legend
Character-driven storytelling has become an increasingly visible part of Play’n GO’s game development, and Stompin’ Gold continues that approach by making its characters central to the game’s identity.
Jack Tracker acts as the guide through the woodland, while Biggie and Boogie provide the game’s more comedic moments and help shape the playful atmosphere.
“Stompin’ Gold has a lovely sense of mischief,” said Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO.
“Biggie and Boogie give the game its personality, while Jack Tracker grounds the story with curiosity and humour.”
Wallentin described the title as a “playful forest mystery”, highlighting the balance between exploration and comedy that Play’n GO has built around the Bigfoot theme.
Play’n GO adds another character-led title
Stompin’ Gold gives Play’n GO another distinctive setting for its 2026 release line-up, this time drawing inspiration from folklore rather than traditional casino imagery.
By turning Bigfoot into a light-hearted adventure featuring colourful characters and an exploration theme, the supplier has opted for a more accessible interpretation of the legend.
The new release adds another character-focused world to Play’n GO’s growing portfolio, with Stompin’ Gold bringing a humorous spin to the familiar mystery of the creature said to roam the forests.
